Outdoor Yoga For Cyclists

Over the past year, my Yoga For Cyclists 6-week beginner’s courses and one-off fundraisers for the Bristol Bike Project have proven to be hugely popular. Whether at 73 Degrees Bike Shop and the Baptist Church in Keynsham or the Yoga Loft in central Bristol, enthusiastic, but often inflexible (!) cyclists have enjoyed joining me on the mat.

” A great course. I definitely want to continue in some form. Thoroughly recommended. “

I also enjoyed running yoga classes outdoors last summer. On Queen Square and Keynsham Park,  yogis would join me as we reached for the sky and grounded down onto the grass, drawing our attention inwards as we connected with nature around us.

So, it gives me great pleasure to announce that outdoor yoga classes will return this summer,  both to Queen Square in central Bristol on Wednesday lunchtimes and Keynsham Park on Wednesday evenings. The classes will be designed specifically for cyclists, building upon the six themes covered in my yoga for cyclists courses. From those practicing yoga for the first time, to more seasoned yogis, all abilities are very welcome.

Classes will take place weekly from early June until the end of August (weather permitting). As well as using a yoga mat, we will use our bikes as props where possible. We can then use these skills to help stretch and ease tension when on and off our bikes. I am excited to announce that the classes will also be used to raise funds for Bristol Bike Project. Each week, I will donate 10% of payments to support their amazing work.

Full details on the classes, including venue, times and costs at my Yoga Classes page.

To get things started, I have a special Father’s Day gift idea to encourage more men to join me on the mat. I am offering a personalised gift voucher for 3 YogaDad classes for £20. This covers my weekly yoga classes over the summer including Yoga for Cyclists. Should you be interested in purchasing this unique gift, do not hesitate get in touch.
