A brainwave on the Sunday night before Mental Health Awareness Week to run 15-minute stretch sessions on my YogaDad page on Facebook Live quickly blossomed over a three-week period. Whether the stars aligned and you were able to join me live, or watched the recorded sessions in my videos section, I am so grateful to all of you. I put my heart and soul into the sessions, and it was your commitment that kept me going.

Not everyone is of course on Facebook, so I am excited to announce that all 15 x 15-minute stretch sessions are now freely available to access on my YouTube channel. The sessions are set out by theme, reflecting a value that’s really important to me each week. The 5th day of classes each week is a ‘Match of the Day’ style highlights stretch covering the best stretches from the week’s session. If you want to dip into my sessions, opt for those first. If you like this, get involved in other sessions and you’ll be hungry for more.

You’re not alone in thinking this way. Many of my students started out tentatively dipping their toe in the water, having never done yoga before. The fear of being the odd-one-out, not being able to do the stretches correctly or being too inflexible to do yoga. Some were even worried about whether it’s mandatory to wear luminous yoga pants!
I can allay fears as you will be able to stretch from the comfort of your own home. I teach in a down-to-earth way, aware that everybody and every body is different. I am not afraid, and in fact encourage the use of props to stretch safely. E.g. comfort blankets, thick books, dinosaur pillows, whatever I can get my hands on in the YogaTwins’ room.
Come as you are. Wear what you want. Have a big stretch. Feel good about yourself.
