The wellbeing village is an exciting new addition to the popular family day at Keynsham Music Festival on Saturday, 2nd July. I have organised the wellbeing village that will showcase an impressive mix of local wellbeing providers that you can try out for yourself for free throughout the day.
Whatever your age or ability level, there will be something on offer for you…
If you’re interested in moving your body you will be spoilt for choice. In the small top, we have different forms of yoga and Pilates, low impact exercise and more to energise you, before winding things down with gentle movements towards an emotional freedom technique session for stress relief.
Weather permitting; we will have Studio 11 outdoors offering demonstrations in pole fitness, aerial hoop and Feet Up core conditioning. Studio 11 will also offer taster sessions on a one-to-one basis.
If you’re looking for something less active, why not treat yourself to a free taster Indian head massage, chair massage, or hand reflexology. You could also learn how to make healthy snacks or have a chat with our local osteopaths, meet their special guest and enter their exciting prize draw.
We will also have local charity, Suicide Prevention Bristol on site throughout the day to listen and signpost individuals to the most relevant support at their time of need.
The family day at the festival is free to attend, although a £5 donation per adult is welcome. Once you are on site, all activities in the wellbeing village are free. With all that we’ve been through over the past couple of years, this is your time to put yourself first – we look forward to seeing you there!
