Yoga for Men

Yoga is often portrayed as though it’s aimed, unintentionally, at women. This can discourage men from attending classes where they may feel they’re the odd one out in a female-dominated environment. My personal experiences reflect this. I have often wished that more men would try yoga and see for themselves how beneficial it can be.
I run Yoga for Men classes in Keynsham and Saltford that are designed specifically for the male body. These classes focus on improving flexibility, developing balanced strength, increasing stamina and relieving stress. These classes also provide a safe and supportive space for men to prioritise their mental as much as physical fitness. In particular through my partnership with men’s mental fitness charity, Talk Club. By adopting Talk Club structure, we’ve been starting and ending classes each week by asking two simple questions – How are you? Out of 10? You can find out more here.
Free Bitesized Recordings
If you have never tried yoga before, or you’re looking for a short yoga class to squeeze into your busy day, I offer free bitesized yoga classes on my YogaDad YouTube channel for you to try at home. I also offer daily 15 minute morning stretch sessions on Instagram. I broadcast live from YogaDad HQ (sometimes with YogaTwins for company) around 6.30am and save all sessions to @yogadaduk.
1-2-1 Yoga Sessions
If you are worried about attending group yoga classes at the moment, or if you have a specific ailment or injury that hinders you from attending general yoga classes, I offer 1-2-1 Yoga Sessions. These will be tailored to your specific needs, and can take place at a chosen venue, or via Zoom.
